The water weight on the sticker probably includes a full water heater.
It would be interesting how the tank was drained to measure the water. Was the RV perfectly level? Was the drain valve used, and is it attached to the bottom of the tank? One thing that I am certain of is that there isn't anybody at KZ that understands that water runs downhill.

I forgot that! But not always, though. I do remember the dealer for my old Komfort telling me that, but I'm pretty sure that the sticker on my KZ does not mention the water heater. I =really= need to double-check that. When I was looking at new rigs, starting in '14, a Jayco was on my short list. Biggest issue I had with it was the anemic black tank, at only 28 gallons. My old Komfort had a 45 gal tank, and we managed to pretty much fill it on 2 occasions while boondocking, so giving up that much capacity was a very real concern. I got to looking at replacing it after the warranty was up and was amazed at how little a dimension change was needed to increase (or decrease) a tank size. Lyle

Let’s see, replaced the hot water heater to Furrion instant, installed 4 toppers, insulated all water lines in basement, installed wood shelves above sliding door and tv, installed Pepwave internet system, washer dryer installed, dish tv on roof not to mention how we ordered it with the generator and an extra solar panel. Our first trip from Nevada to Alaska is on hold until we can get there. One has to remember that the Furrion instant water heater has to be serviced by a Furrion certified dealer, not every Tom, Dick or Harry RV dealer can work on them, so if it goes bad you may have to travel a distance to get it repaired ... Also one of our members that had one installed found this out, they also found out the Furrion will not sell direct to you as an owner or to a vender that is not certified by them ....
This may have changed in the last few weeks, but a member of this form was pretty mad that he could not even buy parts to fix his, he has since went back to the Standard Suburban water heater that comes with his 5th wheel because of this ...

We have had our 2021 382 MBQ for 1 week, vin number says it’s a 2021 and all paperwork. We love our 5th wheel. The inverter is a 1200 watt and it has 1 solar panel, that makes it a 2021 with 2020 parts. What say anyone? Note; I had a second (should have been 3rd panel and the lithium battery’s and a generator installed at the dealer). What say anyone? Also, the water heater is a 12 gallon not the instant on. This comes from the KZ site. What say anyone and thanks. We just signed the deal on our new to us, 2019 382 MBQ. First thing I discovered is, it has the 2018 stove installed. I wonder what other 2018 components it has. Not a deal breaker, we got a good deal on the trailer.

When I was speaking to someone in Customer Service I asked why I couldn't find our model in the list. We have a 2021 C261BHKSE (purchased used in November 2020) and I could never find it when I was looking at their website, not even during the 2021 calendar year. He explained that I would find it in the Product Archive section under 2020 because that's when it was actually made. Sure enough, that's exactly where it is.

What does your dealer say when you point out these items? I pointed it out at time of pickup,

I believe that in every tank you can not fill to the top, there is always room for expansion, how much one never know, as well where did the put the filler tube in the tank, was it at the top, down the side 6 inches or a foot ... As well the meter function on the wall telling you how much is in your tanks for years has been wrong or miss leading, your meter may say full when not full or not full when it's almost full ... If your dealer is will to drop your water tank an make sure it's what your build sheet state than good on them, you have one of the better dealers for sure, most would say sorry we don't do that Ugh !!!!
