I am 6'2" and I like how large the shower is in the CONNECT C261RB it's one of the main reasons we bought it along with the king size bed.
If I could change something it would get 4" more or maybe 6" more of headroom as an option, that I would pay more for. It may take a Bilge like sump pump to get the water into the gray tank but I would gladly pay $300+ more to have the shower flush mounted to the floor to give me that head room. Many boats use a small (1 gallon) gray tank under the shower with a level float triggered pump to move shower water either overboard or into a storage tank.
If that would allow me to shower without hitting my head on the top of the skylight or worse the rim where the skylight meets the rest of the ceiling.... I'd PAY IT!!!!!

If I ever end up trying this modification, I will post to the forum. I doubt there is room under the floor before the top of the gray or black tank to make it work in the current configuration. Wishful thinking for 6'2" 230lbs of camper

Once you're out of warranty, look into installing a larger and taller skylight. $4,000-5,000 would probably be enough. :-)

Your quote was parts and labor right, Skylight under $200 plus labor.
Playing with the idea of a vent & fan in he bedroom like the one they put in the bath. Why they quit doing it I have no idea, but that cool night air over the A/C is nice. Even open windows just does not move the air, biggest issue where can I cut.

That's the one thing with my KZ that lost points over the Jayco I was looking at. The Jayco had 2 windows in the BR to allow cross-ventilation; our KZ does not. Also, there's no fan in the BR vent. Our old Komfort had a Fantastic Fan there, and it =really= helped with pulling air out. I wish someone made a BR A/C that had an =exhaust= fan built-in. I've been looking at window-mounted exhaust fans, though. Lyle

The problem also could have been solved by putting in a skylight that is the full size or almost the full size of the shower and make it 8" up instead of the 2-3", make it usable space. Instead I try to use the space and bang my head on the edges of the skylight

Or Camp at "Clothing Optional" campgrounds, and you can manage the whole process outside, and skipt the swim trunks Keep the water warm!!!
