I’m in the process of purchasing a KZ 391RKQ. I do have experience with towing, but never with a 5th wheel setup. I’m hoping to get some feedback on the stock rota-flex pin box compared to the optional flex-air model. Tow vehicle is a Chevy 4WD diesel dual rear wheel with an 8’ bed.
Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide.

Which ever pin box you'll want the B&W Companion Hitch.

I can’t comment on the Rotoflex but I changed out my standard pin box for a Flexair pin box and it was a great decision. Definitely eliminated most of the chucking and considerably smoothed out the ride of the truck and trailer. I have a Reese 20k pro elite hitch. Not the best but the Flexair makes towing a hell of a lot smoother. The Flexair is pricey but worth every penny. Got mine off of etrailer and installed it with help from my son. I had to lower the hitch because of airbags.
