When you say control module, do you mean the KIB DTM 100? Where did you find it? As best I can tell, this is a time delay latching relay (it stays latched (on) for a limited amount of time.
It receives a 12V signal to latch (turn on) and most probably another single 12V signal to unlatch (turn off)- unless it previously took two signals to unlatch (turn off).
As already suggested, make sure your switch is working both ways- since the relay turns on, we know that side of the switch works, whether it works the other way needs to be checked- see if you get voltage to the #1 terminal (Trigger) both for on and off.
Can't say for sure what's 1 2,3,4, left to right in picture or ??
White:#1?Trigger- Should be receiving voltage from switch
Red:#2? Load- Should be going to pump
Blue: 3? 12VOC -Should be 12V fused supply from emergency switch
Green: 4? Ground- Should go to trailer frame or other suitable ground connection
As far as the fuel gauge, when did it work before? just when the pump was running or ?
Fuel gauges are pretty simple, voltage in, variable resistor in tank changes resistance as fuel level changes, gauge shows it.
View AttachmentHi NVGuy, thanks for all the detailed recommendations.
Yes, for the control module, I was referring to the KIB DTM 100? It was mounted to the inside of the kitchen counter behind where the gauge and switch are mounted.
I will check the connection numbers 1-4 and the voltages when I go to the trailer in storage this week.
Yes the fuel gage only operated before when the pump was running.
I appreciate everyone's inputs!
