I have other reports of decal peeling and bubbling problems on KZ trailers. We have a 2018 311TH10 fifth wheel that we really love. But it is heartbreaking to see that the orange stripe decals are badly shrinking, peeling, and discoloring. They have been waxed periodically but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. It is an early 2018 which we ordered in early 2017 so it is well out of warranty. Some of the orange decals are even turning gray. The rest of the decals are in pretty good shape. Has anyone had similar issues with the orange decals only? Any luck getting them taken care of by KZ, out of warranty? I will be investing in a cover to keep them from degrading further, but eventually will have to have new orange decals applied.

My wife and I have the exact same Sportster 5th wheel, 311th10. Our orange decal on the passenger side is doing pretty much the same as yours. Fading and turning darker but it hasn’t peeled but it has shrunk. I’m pretty sure it’s from the sun as that’s the side the sun hits while parked in our driveway when not in use. It’s only the orange too. Ours as well is out of warranty and we have not looked into any repairs or replacement. I have a feeling that is why in 2019 they eliminated the orange decals and only have black. We really like our sportster as it suits our needs very wand we have had no major problems. If you come up with a solution I’d love to hear it.

I'm pretty sure your out of luck in two ways, one more than likely Kz dozen't have those style/type orange strips in stock any more an the other is your out of warranty ... But saying this you could always ask your dealer if it possible to get such, it will more than likely cost you a pretty penny
When we had our old Coachmen Chappy 5th wheel our decals on the nose was peeling, I called them an ask if i could get a new decal, they said to old after two years an even if they did have one it would cost us $300 for the nose decal just saying the word Chaparral ... I had one made at local sign shop for half the price an it had the faded black
background with nice Gold letters saying Chaparral way better than original

I have a peeling, shrinking problem with the brown decals on my 2018 270TH. I have removed a couple of them. Will have to wait til next season to do the others. Also, the large Sportsmen decal on the front is starting to peel and crack. I think most of the problem is the aluminum was not cleaned properly when the decals were installed. The decals will come off but it's time consuming. I used to do vinyl decal work at the hospital where I worked before I retired. Sure wish I had access to the decal plotter I used there.

We have a 2017 KZ 280THR. The orange side decals deteriorated last year and we removed the side ones. Unfortunately where the decal were is quite noticeable. Now the front ones are in bad shape, and will require removal. Not sure what to do for replacement, but its disappointing. Dealer is of no help. The remaining side decal are in reasonable condition, but for how long is a guess.

Search for a company that does vinyl signs or vehicle trim, they can make most anything and it will be of good quality. Skip the RV industry if at all possible.
