My wife and I live in the central Texas area and just took delivery of a 2021 K-Z Durango Gold G383RLT. We love the floor plan and all the luxury and features. We’re looking forward to years of enjoyment and many road trips. Does anyone else have this model?
Our tow vehicle is 2019 Ford F-350 KR 4x4 DRW CC w/ 6.7L Power Stroke diesel with 4.10 axle. It is a tow BEAST!
Thanks, Admin, for the approval.

My unit is definitely labeled G383RLQ but it appears to be an RLT. The dealer had 2 in stock and they are both labeled RLQ. Mine does not have a second slide in the bedroom for the dresser/fireplace. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe they ran out of RLT labels...?

Sometimes mistakes work in our favor. Overall my G384RLT has been trouble free, hope you have the same experience. Good luck and happy camping.

Good luck and happy camping. Great to hear you’ve been happy with your 384. Mine was built in Aug. 2020 and is definitely a 2021 model. I even decoded the VIN just to reconfirm, even though all the paperwork indicates that it is a ‘21 and it really is an RLT. I could probably get the door label replaced if I asked. Thanks again.

We went to the factory to view this model when they came off the line. Was hoping you actually had one to get your opinion.

There is now a new walkthrough tour (without voice) available on the K-Z website for the RLQ. It appears to me the only difference between it and the RLT is the dresser slides out about 12” in the BR. No other differences that I can see.

The living room and kitchen are basically the same as the older G383RLT & G384RLT, the bed room area however in the new G383RLQ is huge in comparison. The add the extra room that the slide provides. From the clothes closest to the bathroom wall add about 18", the add about another 12" in width when the wardrobe slide is out. It is impressive. That's why I was hoping you had one so you could give me your thoughts.

Our G384RLT was built in November of 2016 an is marked as a 2017, an as jetzen stated theirs was built 3/2017 and is a 2018 ... I call the Kz CS an ask when they changed mode year numbers, they stated in August, I said that a friends trailer was built 4 months later than ours an it's marked a year newer, CS stated it must be a mistake, I laughted an said not according to his vin number ...
The only thing I see different form jetzen's an ours, same model G384RLT is out cabinet door open to the side, his opens bottom to top ...
In the newer G384's I don't like the smaller dressors but that's about it, really nice units an as I said it almost makes me want to trade in ours for a new one LOL ...
Safe Travels an again welcome to the Kz forma n Family !!!!

From my, admittedly, non-expert experience the past 13 years of reading the various fora and researching RVs, the RV industry seems to release the next "model year" much earlier than the automotive industry. I'm talking seeing "next model year" rigs being introduced in the May/June time frame, whereas the auto industry was always in the fall, like Sept/Oct timeframe. Personally, I thought it was just a stupid thing to do and contributes to "new" rigs sitting on a lot for months. But, hey, WTF do I know about business?

Stayed out of the RLT discussion as I have an 2017 RKT, no major issues just some small annoying things I was able to fix, no trips to a dealer for repairs.
