I bought an Anderson WDH after reading online reviews. Looks like people have passionate views about this and most other brands. I'm going to try and sift through more info this weekend.

If you already bought it, no use sifting through more information and second guessing yourself. You'll always be able to find someone who both agrees with your position and also someone who completely disagrees with you.
If it were me, I'd spend my time learning the WDH that I bought and trying to get my setup as right as possible.
