Raise the bathroom and kitchen counters 10" and add another set of drawers, or taller drawers/cabinets Option for Shower to be 6" taller by being level with floor and using boat style shower sump pump to pump water up into grey water storage (Tall guys would appreciate this!!!, considering it for a future major MOD)
Option for shower to be 4"-6" bigger in all directions LxWXH
Option for long bowl toilet with slow close lid
Option for no oven, and/or no oven and induction cook top
Storage box instead of storage drop gate over bumper
Grey tanks plumbed together - separate grey tanks

Chris Depending on the Kz trailer you look at, some have like the Durango Golds some have what your looking for an others because of size an weight do not ...
Our bathroom counter has 3 large drawers an large towel pantry off to one side, the shower is pretty large, are gray tanks plumbed together, so it all depends on the model on unit you get ...
Are many of the 5th wheels different an have two outlets for gray an black water tanks yes, many MFG have the same thing, is it handy to have one out let, having i can say H*ll yes, we have friends that have a different brand of trailer with two outlets an complain all the time ...
On storage I believe the Durango line are pretty large, in fact it was scary when we switched over
the stuff we had in our old 5th wheel to our new Durango Gold a few year back... i thought our old 5th wheel had tons of storage, when I switch stuff over I didn't fill up half of what was in the new 5th wheel ... i realize that some of the small 5th wheels do not have to large of storage the large 5th wheels have but as they say size matters LOL ...
On the Storage box on the back Durango lines did have the rack but people complained that the rack was there an couldn't handle much weight so they took the rack off because people didn't want such ... Personnel I like the rack an if needed I could have added a box to the back for more storage without a problem
In our R384RLT we have both an oven an a convention microwave, in the smaller TT I see they do not have ovens only microwaves ...
We swapped out our tolet for a better one, it was #150.00 for the better tolet with the slow close lid, so if Kz would have put such in they may or may not rised the price, more than likely they would have ,,, But as I talk about in another thread $150 dollars say three or four hundred trailers adds up to the bottom line of the company overall ...
So saying the above would I have no to our buying the 5th wheel we have, more than likely not, but $150 here, $75 there all add up an the next thing you know your in the thousand dollar bracket an some owners will walk away over a few hundred dollars ... We have upgraded our 5th wheel with aftermarket items, like different suspension, wet bolts, spring hangers, king pin, toilet, total over $1500, would we have said no way if Kz had already added these, more than likely not, but some owners I know would have said no way...
So I like other on the form have said I believe you get the best 5th wheel for the price point in the industry ... In other words you get more bang for the buck with Kz as far as I am concurred in 5th wheels ... I can say all the owns of TT at the Kz rally seem to be happy as well with the trailers but like anything else i'm sure there are some unhappy owners, but that's with ever brand no matter how much the cost

Mines 45"x26" with dome skylight overhead
2. AguaMagic replaced with Dometic 310 round 320 oval, full flush water outlets around entire rim not just the back, comes with slow close lid (can't drop an wake DW at night) While doing this install a shut off valve for the toilet, better yet do it before you need it. 3. researching this now, wife cooks a lot and the stove/oven do not heat evenly. 4. Storage boxes can be set on the rack, Walmart & Tractor supply have fiberglass & plastic with locking lids or set a metal in bed tool box on it. I carry a generator chained to the rack, has a naugahyde cover when not in use.
5. I have 3 tanks on mine & fixed the two outlet problem with a modification under $50 and a couple hours with getting parts. Mod link

All good wishes/wants too. I realize they have enough trouble keeping the price low. And if they had all the items we all listed as "Options" their build quality would probably go down due to unique complexities of each different feature. We are really happy with our KZ Connect, floor plan, options etc.... but if had the option would "tweak" a few things. We'll see what I end up modifying myself over time.... We should all have dreams, it gets us up for the next day. As my dad always said "Better days ahead"

Like Edd505, ronc an many others we have all made modifications to our rigs to make it are own, some make many changes an others make a few
I see some really nice changes in rigs, different wall paper, curtains hung instead of the window dressings, back splashes behind stoves an kitchen counters an even seen people paint the walls an cabinet's, different floor coverings ... We had a friend put hard wood flooring in their trailer, look really nice, added a bunch of weight but was pretty darn cool ...
Have fun, Stay safe an have many camping memories

I know a lot of people love the idea of a king bed in their camper, but we normally sleep in a queen bed at home anyway, and had just bought a new, really nice Beautyrest queen mattress for our old trailer. So the first mod I made was to remove the king mattress (really bad king mattress), remove the platform, then cut down and reinstall the platform so it accommodated our new queen mattress. While I had it out, I sanded and smoothed the edges of the platform so they aren't so abrasive. The best benefit to all this may be the additional 6 inches of space we gained on each side of the bed. I also added a platform on my wife's side of the bed to help her get in and out since she is somewhat vertically challenged. Doesn't sound like much but in a small RV bedroom, an extra foot makes a huge difference. We both like it a lot better.

That was my first also, cut to queen for more walking room and put a tempurpedic in. Washer dryer, SRE4000, wet bolts, day night shades, disc brakes, fan light kit, every wall has something, bed struts fixed, sealed the under belly.

One thing I found out from jetzen an never noticed was that the hinge on our bed only had very little screws across the bed hinge, now we have screws in all the hinge holes..
The other was the bed struts fixed after Edd505 stated his had failed an like our old 5th wheel re-sealed the under belly
an around the landing gear so the critters wouldn't find a home ...
We also added the MorRyde easy step assist an hand rail, SRE 4000 an wet bolts, different rims an tires since our trial came with "E" rated tires, MorRyde 18k pin box, MorRyde reel for the 50amp power cord ...
I also added some re-enforcing on the center island around the dishwasher because I didn't like how flimsy the wall was an added screws instead of staples ...

My bed platform didn't have enough screws either. Neither have any of the previous trailers I've owned, so, I added screws and another hinge. Also upgraded the pin box to a Reese Sidewinder. How do you like your easy step assist and hand rail? My wife mentioned a few days ago that those looked like they might help, especially the hand rail. Jay

One of the better investments I have made was the addition of the easy step assist from MorRyde, you can lift the steps
with two fingers, the other thing it will hold the steps in position part way up if needed ... I don't think I would move our
trailer with them part way up but if I need to do something that they needed to be up a bit you could do such an the DW
can store them if needed when you forget them Ugh ...
The hand rail made the DW very happy an even thought the steps are very solid it made her feel more secure when she
went up an down such, me as well with two bad knees ...

Interesting. The hand rail would be very helpful for my DW as well. But I also like what you said about the assist holding the steps up in mid-air. Not only would it make it lots easier to lift or lower the steps, but it would be extremely helpful when you need to adjust the legs on the steps. Thanks Chuck! Jay

Jay You bet, life is good when you do not have to hold the steps, pull the pin an the move the leg, set them down, pick them back up, hold the step, pull the pin, move the leg put the pin back in an then find out you were one hole off after setting them down
.... Who counts holes
