We have a Connect 261RB which we tow with a 2019 Ford F150 with trailer towing package.
it appears the RV Charge Wire in the 7-wire harness from the Ford isn't supplying power to charge the Connect battery while towing.
On YouTube some people say you have to have the FORD OFF, connect the trailer, then turn the FORD ON and it will supply 12V to the charge wire. I may have had the FORD on the whole time when my RV dealer tested with his 7-way tester. Others on YouTube say there may be a dummy fuse installed in the FORD.
I need to by a 7-way tester to plug in and confirm. Anyone had any experience with that? Home Depot was sold out of 7-way testers, so I don't have a way to test for now.....
Thanks Chris

Page 310 in your owners manual:
Recognizing a Trailer 1.Attach the trailer and wiring connector to your vehicle. 2.Switch on your vehicle. 3.Press the brake pedal for a few seconds. A confirmation message appears in the information display. See General Information (page 116)

The system requires a power draw on the 7-way and then holding the brake pedal for about 3 seconds until your dash registers "trailer connected". At that point, the vehicle will deliver the 12V power to your trailer connector and not before. Truck needs to be running to send power to the RV.

Chris -- don't know if you have fixed the problem,, I had the same on my 2016 explorer -- no power at the 7 pin connector -- I researched the owner manuel for the fuse block -- found the charging circut and there was a 20 amp fuse where a 30 should have been -- yes it was blown -- replaced with 30 amp and voila == power at the plug !!! hope all is well

Thanks Chris On my 2017 F150, there is a fuse (or relay - or some electronical gizmo) that has to be installed in order to power the 7-pin. The gizmo came in a bag in the glove box with instructions in the owners manual. Is not that way on my super duty.
