Howdy, the wife and I just bought a 2021 Escape E160RBT to replace our 20 year-old Coleman Westlake pop-up which we purchased new in 2000. Our first trip is in a month, with much to learn going from the pop-up to this. Since we’re not getting any younger, I’m glad to not have to crank this thing up and down. But we loved sleeping “outdoors” in the pop-up’s tented beds rather than totally inside, so that was the main attraction for us to this hybrid.
More to follow after our first trip.

So our first updates have been to add a large cutting board cover to the inside stove with the use of 2” spacers, and bed end storage caddies we took from our popup to add some bed-end storage for clothing, etc., and two full size 2” memory foam toppers from BB&B, should get us going on our first trip. Also sprang for bed-end rechargeable lamps from amazon for $40 each (China thanks us) which have magnets to hold them to our tent end supports, with 3 switchable lighting options.  Is it only me, or is the KZ site kind of behind the times in updated content for current year models, floor plans, videos, and even owner manuals? For example the 2021 Spree Escape E160RBT floorpan we just bought shows only one hybrid bed instead of two, and the sink and stove are reversed. Is that just me being picky? |
