If you are looking for a quiet campground in the Texas hill country, look at Lake Medina RV resort. Located inside a working ranch, the resort is about 45 minutes from n/w San Antonio. The Medina River and Lake Medina wrap around the park, offering fishing and boating. Oaks trees cover the property and provide plenty of shade. Deer wander thru the park, and seem to care less about the people around.

I don't really know. We were supposed to spend two nights there this weekend, but the Hurricane changed all our plans. The people at the KOA said things were fine, but that's been 3 weeks ago.
