Inverter upgrade

My cousin and her husband, who are converting a '64 GMC bus into an RV, chose to use a Victron inverter for their rig. Don't know all the details, but I'm sure you can find it, and their logic behind their choice, on their site, www.beginningfromthismorning.com. FWIW, their coach uses a Nissan Leaf battery for power and they have over 3500 watts of solar. :-)

I've saw a number of ols school bus'a converted over the year, some pretty cool other no so cool
an looked like a accident going to happen Ugh !!!

Down the road from us a guy converted a late 40'es Grayhound bus into a really cool camper, was
painted up nice with all the windows replaced with sheet metal, was a real eye catcher

In talking with them, they've also gotten acquainted with a number of other bus RVers and have seen some really nice "schoolies".  I find it interesting that a lot of CGs specifically ban converted school buses, and most of the ones I've seen are still f'n yellow.  You'd think that with the attitude that CGs can have against school bus RVs, the owners would =paint= them some other color!
