Yesterday we finalized a purchase of a 2015 Durango Gold 380FL. Actually, the purchase willnlt be finalized until Sept 12, when the dealer will then have had time to go through their inspection and punch list on the coach. We will most likely leave it at the dealer until May because it has a 90 day warranty that begins when it leaves the lot. The dealer said we could leave it until May and then have the 90 days start.
One thing we noticed, was that in the front living area, both sleeper sofas could not be out at the same time. They overlap. Have any other front living owners encountered this? We cannot understand how the company would have let this mistake happen.

First you are working with a 2015 model. How do you know that the furniture wasn't replaced at some.point. Second if it is the original furniture how do you know it was a mistake. You are making assumptions that have no basis in fact.

Welcome! HERE is a video showing the sofas extended till they meet. Hard to say what happened to with yours, but I have a single sofa that was thrown together from scraps, it said "rework" right on the frame. I would worry about an RV stored at a dealer that long, can you check on it regularly? Rodents, insects, water leaks and damage from other vehicles would be just some of my concerns.

Thanks lynnmor. I think it would be safer from rodents at the dealership than my place.I would not be able to check on it regularly as it's about a 3-hour drive. It's a smaller dealer and they would be able to store it next to the service units away from traffic. The coach is in immaculate shape. An older couple owned it. The dealer had not had time to clean it up and it was still in "NEW" showroom floor condition

Not unrealistic to think 5 year old furniture been changed, I have a 17 and the couch & love seat have both been changed. Why I like what I put in better because it fits me. BTW I have no couch because I don't want over night guest.
As you can see watching the video both couches do open in the video, if they can't open now somethings changed. The longer your here you will find some anti KZ people that have nothing good to say about KZ. They are in the minority most of us love out RV's and share info on modification and some common minor issues and the majority of issues are with "things" installed by KZ and not manufacture by them. Some buy entry level and expect Rolls Royce quality, won't happen. Every new Rolls-Royce is protected by a four-year, unlimited mileage, regional warranty* from the date of first retail or registration whichever is earlier. Why warranty on a Rolls? Nothing perfect.
