To celebrate my finishing radiation and chemo for throat cancer, my wife and I have bought a new RAM 2500 Diesel Longhorn Lariat Short bed truck. We are finalizing purchase of a 2021 Durango 1/2 ton D283RLT. We placed a deposit but it is contingent on my follow up visits at MD Anderson August 26, 27, and 28th. I think I am doing well and will be released to travel. I am semi retired from Family Practice (PA-C) x 37 years. I'm also a retired army medical officer (69-94). We are looking forward to many adventures. We are not new to RV as we had a 40 ft DP for 6 years but sold it two years ago. Going to a 5th wheel seemed a better choice for us this time. Blessings to all.... Steve

Howdy neighbor, and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on beating cancer and your potential new rig. I live east of Baytown so we're not too far apart. I hope you get a thumbs up on your doctors appointments and traveling!!!!

stevee9c6 Welcome to the Kz form As many of the owners on this from will agree that KZ put's their best foot forward on assembling their campers, but are not perfect an do make mistakes but way fewer than most Rv MFG's in their price point Many you have many safe travels an many camping memories Chuck

Hi and welcome. First, congratulations on beating cancer! Second, welcome to the family! We don’t live in East Texas but just bought our new D333RLT in Nacogdoches. Hope to cross paths someday.
