I purchased a new Sportsmen Classic 20RBT a few weeks ago and I love it with the exception of the mattresses which are horrible. My kids don't seem to mind but I was unable to sleep on mine. I might as well have been sleeping on the board underneath. As a short term fix we purchased a blow up mattress for the adults "room" and it is better but I'm not a huge fane of blow up mattresses. Does anyone have suggestions on where to purchase a replacement mattress? What types have you used? Inner spring, memory foam? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
D

We have a Durango, but I suspect the mattresses are similar. We bought 3 1/2 inch memory foam and put that over the standard mattress and it sleeps great. Probably as good as our mattress at home. You can find memory foam just about everywhere anymore. Good luck.

Thanks for the response. I did some checking on other RV forums and the consensus seems to be a memory foam topper.

We bought a inner spring from Denver Mattress. It was not cheap ($400ish), but it is most comfortable bed we own!!

We have the Sportsman Classic 200. Can't say enough about how bad the mattress was. After the first night we went to a furniture store and bought a nice queen size. We love our KZ (this is our first TT, bought in 12/12) but would be a whole different story if we hadn't replaced the mattress. It's worth the money, don't hesitate to replace it and enjoy your investment!

I have a 18rbt and had the same problem. I purchased a piece of 4" high density foam from a local mattress manufacturer. Works great !! Was only about 75 bucks.
