Our dining table fits very loose into the base for it and the table is very unstable. Anyone have this issue or any solutions?

The only solution that I've heard of is to attach one side to the wall (if that's an option for your table) Mine is a stand alone table and it's wobbly also but every pedestal table I've seen is that way.
The only other option that I can think of is to purchase a table from home depot with collapsible legs and transfer them onto your current table top. (then you can toss the pedestal) I bought one for $12 but my trailer is in the shop for a while so I have yet to see how well it will work.

Thanks for the input. I may try to drill through the base where the table leg sits and tap a screw thread and use a set screw. Its worth a try.

Ours does the same thing. It's a stand alone so not sure what I could do to make it more ridged.

WHEN I HAD THE SMALL SQUARE TABLE, I TURNED IT OVER & PUT A LOT OF MY WEIGHT ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LEG TO THE TABLE, THEN PUT IT BACK RIGHT SIDE UP IN THE FLOOR BASE & AGAIN APPLIED MY WEIGHT TO IT. MADE IT QUITE A BIT MORE STABLE. --- NOW I HAVE MODIFIED THE TABLE--SMALL TABLE ONLY ALLOWS 3 PEOPLE AROUND IT --I TOOK OUT THIS SMALL TABLE, BUILT A DOUBLE LONG SIZE RECTANGULAR TABLE. TOOK OUT THE REAR CUSHEN, & PLYWOOD SUPPORT & FLOOR SPACER---FLOOR & WALL THERE ARE COMPLETLY FINISHED--- ATTACH LONGER TABLE TO THE PEDISTAL & THE REAR WALL--- NOW NO WOBBLE & TABLE NOW SEATS 4 PEOPLE WITH NO ONE WITH THEIR BACK TO THE WINDOW

Our dining table fits very loose into the base for it and the table is very unstable. Anyone have this issue or any solutions? You could replace the whole bit with black pipe fittings from the hardware store. Screwing it all together might get old eventually but it'd be solid. If you have or know anyone with a machine shop they can cut or re-cut the threads in a way to just use a 1/4 (90 degree) turn to lock them all in place.

We removed our industry standard wobbly table legs and replaced them with some from Lance. Super solid and they look good too. Must buy them from a Lanced dealer tho. In a previous TT, I removed the wobbly legs and installed a single folding leg and mounted a bracket to the wall and one end of the table. The parts are standard RV items and available at RV parts vendors. I installed new laminate plank flooring so did not have leftover screws holes in the sheet flooring to deal with. It is possible to take a piece out of the floor inside a cabinet or other place where you'll never notice and then get install patch pieces using the correct seam sealer, or get a floor layer to do it. One potential issue with this option is that you may not have wall studs to screw into and you don't want to screw the bracket just into the luan plywood (only 1/8" thick).
