Greetings,
I have an early 2020 half-ton with pre-wired solar. One end of the wire pair is in the battery compartment, the other heads up into the attic. I cannot see where it is made available on the roof, has anyone figured that out yet?
Thanks, --Brian

I also have a 2020 unit and was wondering the same thing? I haven't really started looking yet but if I do I'll let you know. Please post again if you find something! Good luck,

Solved. First, make sure you have a yellow and yellow/white wire in your battery box. Looking for the wire on top requires that you have two ends Second, the early models of the Durango (manufacturing of the 2020 started around March of 2019) they routed the solar-prep wires from the battery box "toward the back" and then installed the mushroom vent on top of the wires. The later models have the wires routed the same, or they have a dedicated port inside of a roof cap. Third, you have to push the screen inside the mushroom vent (attic vent) aside to see the wires. The bolt is held in place with a nut/washer and if this nut is removed the bolt will fall into the attic. It only falls a couple of inches and is retrievable with a magnet or hemostats but it's a challenge to re-assemble. Since you will have to drill a hole to install the actual solar-wire port it may be best to plan on removing and replacing the mushroom cap. Your milage may vary, as will your patience. Fourth, now you can go spend a lot of money installing solar panels. --edge

Thanks edge! This will give me another little project to figure out on our next trip. If I install a solar panel it would be just for the bare essentials and maybe a battery maintainer?
Thanks again for your help!
