No been there thousands of miles with no issue. I did add lights under and the chain will occasionally get in the blades traveling, I have learned to check.

Mines a 2013 model and I haven't had any trouble with the ceiling fan blades. Lots of miles and lots of trips.

I just talked to customer service at KZ and blades have to be adjusted when slide comes in or they will break off in a bind

That sounds like a design defect. My ceiling fan will spin with both slides in.

Pure horse poo, I have never had to "adjust" a ceiling fan blade in my coach or any of the ones I worked on over the years. If properly installed, they go right over the slides.

Did you add the light kit? Looks nice! Yes by adding a new fan with light, I looked for a kit to add the light and the base is a odd size. I was able to find one in nickle with a base the same size at Home Depot or Lowes don't recall which, one of our first make it ours mods.
