We bought this unit in Feb, planning a 2 month cruise across the country but Covid nixed that for the moment. We've been spending a night or two on our farm to break it in. Issues that we've noticed:
1. The 12v, 10 cu. ft. Evercool fridge works well BUT, the door won't open far enough to get the shelves out for adjustment. Any help on this is Welcome!!
2. Storage is barely adequate, so we added a 30 x30 x12 wall cab backed against the sink cab, placed a butcherblock top on it and the extra space is a huge help. (had to raise it on small platform to accommodate vent)
3. We put a drop-down buthcherblock countertop on the slide side of the sink cab. Also HUGE in kitchen prep and takes no floor space when not in use.
4. Flipped propane tank reg around so it can be more easily read.
5. Replaced dealer installed single, deep cell battery with 2 deep cell, 6v batts.
6. Minor but helpful for us: put 1.5" spacers behind panel under jack-knife sofa to allow easier access to under-couch storage. Our containers were too tight a fit.
7. Moved hinges 3/16" in on pantry door. It would not open far enough for easy access due to binding on trailer wall. Silly oversight on KZ's part.
We'd really like help with number 1. Hopefully, our mods inspire others to get creative. We really like this coach. It fits a couple very well and tows easily. Backing it is cake.
Safe travels all! Lee & Jaz

Can you flip the fridge door hinges to the opposite side and would that help a little?

which way does it swing? I looked at the floor plan and it appears it should go to the left toward the pantry.

I can switch the handing on the fridge! It's a RHH and easily can be flipped to LHH! Thanks for the insight!

Draper, where did you get your drop hinges for the kitchen counter expansion? We want to do the same thing... starting my Google search but something you have been happy with would be good information to have

#1. I had the same issue with the fridge on my C261RB. The door hit the shelf under the TV and wouldn't open far enough to get the glass shelfs out.
I haven't really fixed that issue, but I did adjust the shelfs when I pulled the fridge out to install and ON/OFF switch for the fridge. The only way to turn the fridge off when the camper was plugged in was to pull the fuse. I got a 12VDC 20Amp automotive switch and some 10ga wire and spade terminals and wired the switch into the power lines to the fridge. I can now turn on the battery or plug the camper in while working in there without the fridge coming on.
Also, the little T-handle bracket that is supposed to keep the fridge doors shut while traveling is garbage by itself. I made a wood wedge that fits under it and keeps the doors shut. Compressing the door seals a little provides just enough pressure to keep it in place. We already have a dent in the fridge door from when it swung open while traveling, but a refrigerator magnet hides that.
