Hi all,
My wife and I have had a long time dream to get a travel trailer. She used to tent camp with me at Oshkosh (EAA air show) once a year, but after last year she announced that she was never going to camp in a tent again. Our plan was to buy the truck this year and the camper in '21. So in January we bought the tow pickup. After a process including a heart to heart with our financial adviser, visits to dealers and an aborted offer on a used trailer at a a consignment place we purchased a new KZ toy hauler.
It is a Sportster 353TH13. It is waiting for the generator to arrive at the dealer so it can be installed and for the dealer to do their other prep. We are hoping that the riots in the Minneapolis area don't slow down the generator delivery too much, I expect it is a concern. We have rented trailers in the past, but this is our first purchase.
We are looking forward to being able to wander around the country, travel to see our grandkids, and to to destinations on our bucket lists.
