Hey everyone I've got a 2011 spree escape 19SB. Aluminum roof, wavy like crazy, so there is some pooling when the trailer is sitting level. The previous owner used some hardware store silicone for his roof maintenance/repairs. The trailer currently does not leak but im tilting it after rain and keep it covered during winter. Id like to do some preventive maintenance but im unsure how to handle the silicone removal and then what products to use around vents/penetrations and seams? Any guidance would be wonderful. Thanks everyone.

I have a similar trailer with an aluminum roof and mine is wavy, too. I can't help you with how to remove the silicone, but would use white dicor lap sealant, part number 501LSW to seal the vents, penetrations and seams.

I've painted my entire roof and all the seams with this gaco.com/product-details/gacoelastomeric/ and have been happy ever since. After a few years I pressure washed it and recoated it just as preventive maintenance. Can be put extra thick on the screw edge and over caulked areas.
