Just bought our first KZ toy hauler (250THLE). We have had a FW and TH before. Our first was a 1998 Kit Patio Hauler 35' and our last was a 2006 23FK Eclipse Attitude Toy Hauler. We were really torn between a top of the line Outdoors RV Toy hauler or Momentum FW Toy hauler. At the end of the day we went with one of the lowest priced Toy Haulers to see how much we will be using it and figure out what we really want in the future. We believe we paid a fair price for it. I noticed when shopping around that the "pig" didn't have as much lipstick (refinements) as other brands, but it was 5-10k less than other similar models. I plan to do several upgrades right away. I just bought two 6v batteries, will likely upgrade the wheels to aluminum to make it look a little more modern, add a small TV, rear camera, solar etc..
My only concerns so far are: a small 40 gallon fresh water tank, cheap tires and spotting anything that needs to be made better.
I am a retired Marine and currently on my second career in telecom/fire. Originally from the Georgia, but retired (first time in 2014) to Western Montana. Married 25 years in July.

Welcome, yep, not a lot of glitz, and just about everything comes with cheap tires.

Welcome. Do you have yellow foot prints in your camper?
One thing you will find with RVs, you can have the same model years camper as someone else, and have a totally different experience. RV standards do not exist. There are usual and frequent, but not standard.
We bought a 2008 in 2016 and it is a 33ft WolfPack toyhauler 295WP. It is a great light weight (12k fully loaded with 2 touring motorcycles and 100 gallons fresh water) camper. We have found that the higher end models have fancier items that add weight but not to the usefulness of the camper. (Seriously, a fireplace insode the camper?)
I am on this board because the KZ toyhauler is one of the few we have found with the open garage concept. One themotorcycle is out, the back 2/3rds of the camper are usable and not walled into 3 smaller sections. I will be reading what other find for my next purchase.
