I have a 2020 1500 Durango 283rlt and when I collapse the kitchen slide the propane flow shuts off so the frig goes to red light. The stove also loses the gas flow. So my question is: Does anyone know if there is a shut off switch that stops the propane when the kitchen slide collapses?

rt283 I do not know anything about the 2020 Durango 283rlt but I'd almost bet the propane shouldn't shut off when closing the slide .... Best advice is to call your dealer an ask for either a service writer or the lead machinic of the dealership ... Asking salesman may be a cr*pshoot do to the fact many don't know their As# from a hole in the ground Maybe I should add this to my PDI checklist, "open an close slides to make sure everything works in the slide such a Kitchen frig an stove" Stay Safe Chuck

Most likely the propane supply hose is being kinked pinching it off. This is dangerous because the hose will quickly fail. Can you look under the slide with it out and see the hose?

I am with Lynnmor on this one. Something is getting kinked or pinched off.

x3 on a kinked hose. Dealer needs to correct this ASAP before the hose is damaged.
