I am looking to buy and install an awning topper for my 2016 KZ Spree travel trailer. The slide dimensions are 12.5 ft X 3 ft. They have them on Amazon but I am not sure how to find the right one for my particular RV. Any advice? Thanks!

Go to the awning manufactures website and find the information there.
Before deciding on a brand, make sure that you have framing behind the proposed attachment points. Dealers might just screw thru the very thin siding and call it good.

So far I have liked what I read about Lippert. I have a KZ which is pretty solid but will definately contact KZ and ask them.

So far I have liked what I read about Lippert. I have a KZ which is pretty solid but will definately contact KZ and ask them. If you could get the blueprints for the walls from KZ, then you would know the best places to attach. When deciding on brand of awning, know that different brands may have different attachment points, so get what will match your framing. Reading reviews won't help much, folks have no clue how well their awnings are attached. My KZ has no framing that is suitable for a slide awning, but dealers are installing them. Good Luck.

They have actual blueprints showing the framework with dimensions, you just need to find the right guy to send them to you.

Our trailer came with the slide toppers. They do keep debris off the slides and I feel like they keep the slide room cooler on a hot sunny day. My only minor gripe is the noise when on a windy day or nite, mine seem to flap quite a bit. But I'd have them again. Kirt
