I recently purchased a 2020 Durango Gold and wanted to add Direct TV option. I purchased the King Pro Tailgater and was sent the Direct TV receiver. My Durango has a 65" TV mounted in the main living space. My first question is where to run the cable from the King Tailgater to the Durango....and then how would I attach the Direct TV receiver? Due to the secure mounting of the 65" TV, I cannot get to the connections on the backside of the TV. I am very confused on how to get this all wired. If someone has worked this out successfully, I thank you for your guidance in advance.

There has to be away to access the back of the TV. I think you will find a satellite connection in the wet bay, mines just above the cable connection, and another on the roof. It may also require moving a jumper behind the TV, don't recall which, but they are lettered A,B,C D, etc, check your manual. I use Dish but I'm sure the hookup will be the same, portable antenna to the Direct box and a HDMI cable from the box to the TV. In the TV you may need to change the source, that will be in the TV manual.

Is your TV not mounted to a swing arm? Mine is, and the bracket that holds it requires a good tug to pull it free. As Edd said, behind it you will find all the connections and the loop that feeds the bedroom TV as well. Just a thought, good luck

Some swing arms have a locking latch on them as well that you have to push or pull to get the arm loose.

As well if you look behind your bedroom TV you will hind a panel with jumpers an connectors marked A, B, C an I believe Satellite, you will have to switch jumpers to get a Satellite connection off your water panel where it is marked Satellite an TV ... Also make sure that the amplifier on the panel behind the TV is turned off ... There is a very tiny button that turns the Amp on an off an a light to show you when it is on ... You have to do this for both Satellite an Cable if you going to use your outside air antenna, if you TV screen is fuzzy then the Amp is on, tunering it off clears up the picture ... As well a number of members on this form have found that the cable connectors are loose or need to be replaced, check all connectors to make sure they are tight ... I wish that when you did your PDI the person doing such should have showen you this even though you hadn't bought your Satellite setup yet Ugh !!!! Stay Safe Chuck

Always scares me when I pull it out, thinking that the TV's going to fold in half! I pull from top and bottom to help. Lyle

Hi All good advise here. Also there is a schematic of all the TV wiring in your package from KZ that has all your warranty's etc.. I install the same one (King Pro) on top of the trailer, there is places to connect your front room tv to on the roof, and a second one for second box. The guys above are right on. The tv has a little cam lock to hold the tv besides the rubber bungee. Just grab the TV and pull out a tad. You should see a few wires and cable wire wall mounts. One of mine even said Satellite. Good luck. Tell us how it works out. Find the sheet of paper with wiring diagram, real helpful.
