Hi folks! The black tape on my slide roof is starting to roll up, about 18 inches long of it and maybe rolled back one half inch. This is the tape that runs the length of the slide room along the slide roof line by the top trim. I want to roll it back into place and lay down a strip of eternabond over the length of the roof. My question: How do I prep the tape that's on there, as well as the slide roof material beyond the existing tape where I'll apply the eternabond? I'll pick up a steel roller to finish applying the tape for a strong bond.

The cost of buying a 25 ft roll of tape, cleaner, a tube of primer, a tube of caulk and a roller costs not too much less than what the local shop charged. I got to ride my motorcycle for the morning while they did their magic. And it was a 1st rate job.

The more you learn about fixing stuff the better off you are, CW charging $130 an hour is ridiculous.
