I have a 2007 Spree 290 BHS and got a quote from local dealership and they said this is a common problem between 2006 and 2008 in the Spree lineup. Doesn't this warrant a recall on this issue. I have a hard time coughing up $2500 to replace the ones I have. That is one of the two quotes I got from the dealers. I was hoping KZ would do something but every time my wife contacted someone at the main office they never returned our call.
Hopefully in this forum I will get some information. Thanks.

The decals on my 2008 Coyote RL250 are a mess. curling and bubbling. Was going to see if I can get a price from KZ for a new package to redo them. A local sign shop quoted me 600 plus tax to redo the entire trailer. maybe check with a shop near you?

If it was me, I'd forget about providing free advertizing for KZ and have a sign shop put on something graphic only or add verbage that was personal to me. KZ didn't pay me to haul around a billbord for them.

We have had the same problem with our 2010 KZ Spree. They were replaced under warranty and 4 months later were bubbled and peeling off again. We have been waiting for a couple of years for our dealer to get the decals in. We are now told they no longer have the 2010 decals in stock and "may" have to pay for them ourselves. We are waiting to hear back from KZ before we go cross country with our awful looking decals. Definitely not good advertising for KZ.

I had a problem with my decals too. Dealer already has replacement decals, just waiting for warmer weather to put them on.

I've almost finished removing the curb side decals from my new/used 08 Spree. Its not all that difficult. I bought some of those disk erasers on Ebay but not the 3m kind. Those were $22 each. I bought another brand for $10 apiece and got 4 of them. I'll use one for the first side, maybe one and part of another. I also bought the plastic blades and scraper one see advertised for this job. I have a heat gun I use with my RC airplanes and also to shrink heat shrink. It works great. Get a long piece warmed up and most of it will simply pull off. Then back with a rag and some acetone to clean up the gunk. When I get bored with that or if its a thick vinyl, I use my drill and the eraser pad. I have to stripes left to remove from the curb side. I haven't decided whether to go Commando or replace the graphics with something else. K-Z tells me they wouldn't have graphics for an 08 so if I put some back on, they will be aftermarket. Actually, it looks fine without the graphics. A bit of shadowing but some more cleaning and a bit of time in the sun should take care of most of that. All decals fade and crack after a time in the sun and weather. If you garage your rig then it shouldn't be a big problem. We were fulltime in a motorhome for 8 years so those graphics were pretty badly cracked when we sold the rig. We picked up this Spree this week. Inside, it looks like it has never been used. Outside the graphics are pretty bad but nothing that cannot be fixed for a few bucks.

We dealt with KZ directly and found them absolutely wonderful to deal with. We had been steered in the wrong direction by the dealership we had been using for our warranty and decal issues. We have had an extremely positive experience with KZ and cannot say enough positive things about them and their employees we dealt with. When the time comes to buy another RV, KZ will be our first choice. **See updated post below.**

****Follow up to my previous post......We received our camper back from KZ and immediately put the cover on it for the winter. After getting it out of storage and removing the cover we found the entire camper had not been redone. We were told by KZ the reason for the decal problem was a defect in the finish. We assumed that meant they would correct the finish on the entire camper. The front and back were not done. Because of that we are left with a very dull finish on those areas that looks terrible. The decals on the front that were redone by the local dealer look bad as well. We have kept our camper looking like new and the defective finish will definitely effect the resale value. Very disappointed the defect was not entirely corrected.

Did you inspect the work before taking delivery? Never take delivery until you're satisfied with the work.

Unfortunately we didn't inspect it fully. It was extremely cold out and we were busy with getting ready to leave for Florida and prepare for the holidays. We were also hurrying to get it into storage and covered while the storage area was free of snow. We looked at the side where the bubbles were really bad and the side facing the house and it looked beautiful. Nice and shiny and no bubbles. I'm not sure why we didn't notice how bad the front looked unless it had been waxed. It has continued to look worse as the summer has gone by. I'm not sure it would have mattered anyway. It was delivered to our house so we couldn't really refuse it. We really trusted the people we were dealing with and thought they had completed the job. They helped us out on a few other things so we assumed the job was complete.

Your trailer is 12 years, Kz will not have the graphic's an more than likely the dealers you talked to will have a sign shop do such an charge you more that if you went... Why not go directly to a sign shop
yourself put on some graphics can cut out the middle man the dealer
Our last 2006 Coachmen 5th wheel has the front graphics pealing, we call coachmen an they stated that they only kept some graphics only four years an others only two years so looking for MFG's to keep things like this is pretty much out the window after a few year an not cost effective ...
