We have been out for nearly two weeks, our longest trip to date. Every time we are set up, all 6 jacks down, when we walk thru the trailer it still shakes. I know, it's on wheels and is a giant box on wheels. Is there something out there to help settle the shake? Or what am i doing wrong? This being our first fifth wheel, am I missing something? As always any help is appreciated!
Oh, by the way, those traveling to or from Carlsbad Caverns area, avoid US 285 from I 10 or I 20 in Texas to get there. It is a road destroyed by oilfield traffic. Insanely heavy truck traffic, and pot holes large enough to swallow a Volkswagen
Thanks Kirt

Put a stack of lego blocks under each leg, the shorter the legs the less shake. Some use large wood blocks, I like the lego's because i can adjust for uneven spots.

If you’re equipped with the strong arm jacks on the landing gear, level the camper, lower the front slightly, tighten the strong arm jacks and raise the front back to level. After placing wood blocks under all the landing gear pads. That should take out most of it. You’ll always have a little movement.

Raise the front, tighten the JTs, then drop back to level. Works for me... Lyle

For short stops of 2-4 days we use the lego blocks to shorten the jack ram length. A good stack of 6-8" under each one really helps the movement. If a long stay of a month +/- you can get the tripod type rigs that go under the pin box, and the JT strong arms help alot too. But all that does take some time to setup. I deal with the little bit of movement on short stays.

I put wooden blocks under each leg, as stated the shorter legs the less shake as also stated some owner use Lego blocks an install arm strong jacks on their landing gear ... I'm not a fan the the king pin stabilizers an think they are a waste of many ... Safe Travels Chuck

Well, last week while at an estate sale, I picked up a set of Anderson leveling buckets. These were still in the box unused, and priced at about 80% off retail. So, next week, we are planning to go to the Texas coast and the Fredricksburg area. We will see if the larger footprint and shorter length on the levelers smooth things out. Safe travels to all, and be well! Kirt

I can't say for sure they made the things better, as we never really noticed a lot of shake / movement, but do find them handy, with the magnets on the top makes getting them in the right place very easy. And yep, they do limit leveler travel.

The BAL X chocks made a world of difference in our trailer, then we replaced the cheap factory scissor jacks with husky scissor jacks, and that almost completely eliminated the trailer moving when all set up on pretty much any surface!
