We are preparing for a trip this weekend and trying to de-winterize our rig. It came from the dealer winterized. We cannot find the low point drains. Does anyone know if this rig had low point drains and if so where are they located. We’ve looked everywhere. More concerned for when we get back and need to drain and winterize again. Left messages with dealer and KZ.

Might have to crawl underneath to get to them as they could be behind the wheels, making them hard to see. Should be one red and one blue line, at minimum. Red for the hot and blue for cold. Might have a second blue line to drain the fresh water tank.

Just spoke with KZ tech, this model does not have hot and cold low point drains. Only freshwater drain.

What? How can that be? Did he offer any suggestions on how to drain / flush the F/W plumbing?

I find that super hard to believe! From my first camper (a 1967 Holiday Rambler), every camper has had low point drains! Water goes in, it must come out.
Does your RV have an underbelly? Maybe someone forgot to cut the holes?

x3! Sumpin's wrong! This "KZ tech" was at a dealer or at the factory? Given the changes at KZ, wouldn't surprise me that there's nobody left at the factory that remembers specifics on a 19 y.o. model. Lyle Where the hell did I get that your rig was a 2001?!

Not to mention, where's the drain for the black tank?

KZ tech at factory pulled plumbing schematics. Fresh water drain, two fresh water overflows, two black water drains and one grey water drain on the schematic. When I questioned it he said no low point drain on the 2020 291 BHT. I asked how to dewinterize and winterize. Advised to flush with water until no antifreeze remains at taps, then when winterizing flush with antifreeze until it reaches all taps. Can also open taps and hit with air compressor to push antifreeze/water out accordingly. Schematics show looped plumbing.
I poked a hole in the underbelly to look around plus up through insulation at one of the sinks. Couldn’t see any drains. That prompted this thread along with the calls to dealer and manufacturer.
This is our third rig and the first time to encounter this.

Discovered last night as we were insulating the fresh water drain the 2020 does in fact have low point drains. Contacted KZ this morning to let them know.

That's good news. I want to know the name of the KZ tech who looked at the plumbing schematics. Maybe he needs some new glasses.

Wow !!!! is all I can say, I agree with nvguy, new glasses are in order, my hot an cold water darns are pretty easy to see, the fresh water drain is between the wheels left side ... Maybe this was the 1st week for this Tech an they hadn't shown him how to read schematics/blue prints
Safe travels an may you have many, many camping memories

Yeah, you always want to remember to crack your low point drains when winterizing to get antifreeze down into those 2 lines as well.
