So our 5th wheel folding steps are icing up and trying to figure out what to do. It has non skid strips but with ice it’s not helping. Suggestions?

Keep as much snow off as you can, Ice melt from the hardware or big box store.

How about a walking stick with a rubber "foot"? Bang the steps a few times to break up the ice.

Ty. Wife put towels down and worked ok. Luckily it warms up above freezing most days.

Just think, some object to the dirt when bringing the steps inside, this ice may be a larger problem.

We have thick cloth pads on our steps, but have not test drove them on ice only snow an they seem to work ok but clearing them is a little harder an if there was just bare aluminum with the non skid strips ... Eye's think Edd had a great idea, Ice melt from the hardware or big box store may be the answer Safe Travels Chuck
