'18 DG 380FLF - This coach came from the factory with a King Jack antenna. I thought it was something wrong with it. I needed to have it replaced thanks for a too low tree limb.
Anyway, LR TV now, with the new antenna is fine. The BR on the other hand, receives probably about 25% of the front.
The 380 has the LR in the front where others have it in the back, and, of course the BR is in the back.
I've managed to find out the problem. It's the coax from the amp to the BR outlet. After checking all the other things - switch, amp, barrel connectors, the last thing was the coax.
I ran a new coax from the amp directly to the tv input, nothing in between. The reception at the tv, and channels, was excellent.
So it comes down to replacing that coax.
From what I can see, the coax is route to the roof then back to the TV. So, has anybody, or does anybody, know how to pull a new coax? I'm out of warranty although I've been complaining about this from day 1. KZ won't do anything else. I was thinking, that maybe use a barrel connector to connect due wire to old, and just pull it through. No slack on the current coax. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Al

Just a last question as you have done everything I have gone through. Is there a splitter anywhere in that line? If so a change might help. I have the same in mine but in reverse. Bedrooms great, living room not so much. I bought a portable satellite system and run that to the living room. I now have a TV guild and the stations are always the same, I subscribe to local channels to see whats going on where I am.
I have not done the coax replace but would definitely try the barrel to get it trough, let us know how it works.

I did not notice any splitters. It seemed to me that the coax went right from the amplifier to the outlet in the bedroom. My bedroom would probably be your living room. There is a splitter behind the TV and my living room but it the coax goes from the amplifier right up towards the ceiling and after that I'm not sure if there's any other splitters but I don't think so.

While I have a different model, I have found a few issues with the coax in my rig. First off the ends aren't terminated all that well, so after inspecting them closely, removing & replacing them might help. I also found a mystery splitter behind the wall plate for the living room TV that I removed. As far as pulling new coax in, not all that possible. They don't run wiring thru pipe, its usually a big bundle all zip tied together. What you can do is use the A/C ducting as a cable run, coax is low/no voltage, so no fire danger there. Now getting the coax to the duct is the tricky part, and requires a bit more finesse & tricks than I can explain here. Do you know any alarm techs or electricians? Usually those guys have lots of tricks for fishing wires.

Thanks for the suggestion of finding someone that can do where we're running the coax That's a definite thing to try. I will try the terminations and see if I can replace them and go from there as far as that is. Thanks for helping out, I really appreciate it.

I found splitters at both ends, the one in the bedroom at the antenna amp, had one the went to the basement. The basement in mine was setup for an outside TV with power & and antenna connection. That one is gone, I don't watch outside.

FWIW .... streaming solves the connection issue completely. No coax, no dish, no connectors, no splitters, no antenna. I was a DirecTV person for 30+ years (3 while FT in our 5th wheel). Streaming has solved all cabling, connections, weather interference, need for clear southern sky, not under trees, etc. it’s not for everyone, but we have been very happy with the results.

I agree with the posts about poor termination and splitters causing issues. Mine works much better with the radio disconnected from the antenna. I'm not sure why this is the case but a separate radio antenna cured my problems.

Tried pulling a new cable today from the wet bay to the slide, did not work, I think it has cable ties along the way. The end fell off so I will have to get a replacement end.

I was hoping that there was some type of access from the bay up to through the floor but, probably not. I'm gonna keep at it until I find a way.

If I was home I would look into a fish wire like the electricians use and run a new cable outside the bundle and just abandon the old cable. I think it maybe possible from behind the TV running down toward the wet bay. I tried pulling both ways and did not get movement.

Behind the TV, the cables seem to go up, which tells me it's going to the ceiling. I would suppose the coax is secured at different places.
I was going to go that route of fishing a new wire. I was even thinking maybe I could pull down some of the ceiling lights, thinking I might be able to cables or raceways. Maybe be able to fish that way.
I'll think about that and probably check it out. I'll post my success or not.

I doubt that the coax is secured and it might be possible to pull it through. Most wiring is run in the ceiling where there are all kinds of ways that a cable end might become snagged, so remove the end and attach mason twine. If that doesn't work, yes go from lamp to vent to overhead cabinet, whatever it takes to get it in there.

We replace the antenna amp behind the TV an put new ends on our cable even thought we didn't need such ... We also have a TV outlet in the storage ara we do not use an a splitter behind the TV in the living room ... I thinking having a electrician fish a line thought the top is a good idea I have to admit that after three times going thought the Kz product line for 5th wheels I always was looking under an around the floor an side walls an never looked up at the ceiling an how wires were routed there ... Safe Travels Chuck

Issue I have now is the satellite connection in the wet bay is bad so I have t run the coax through a window until I fix it.

How f'n hard would it be for RV mfrs to run conduits through the ceiling and under the floors for wiring? Just sayin'...

Its probably easier because they're on the roof with the insulation. Just throw it in, don't slow down with the staples. Goes for broke. Maybe all these mergers corrupted the good reputations of quite a few mfgrs, to our expense! I could see a fire/electrical inspector falling over if they saw that in S&B!
