Our new 366 came with slide topper package. Of course this weekend with friends and family coming over, we left the trailer open for all to see. We then had 2 heavy down pours. This left the 2 large toppers sagging under the weight of the water. Is there a trick or suggestion to help eliminate the sag and move the water off? I read on another site, a semi inflated beach ball to push the topper up. As always an suggestion or advice is appreciated! Kirt

Between being caught in heavy winds and heavy rain on multiple occasions I’ve found that the best thing to do is the put three long pool noodles together in a pyramid shape on top of each other. Duct taped them together and I put a little rope on either end attached to it. I then use and old awning hook from an old manual awning to grab the rope and pull it out from under the topper. Then I got tired of that because I have three toppers. So I viewed a video on YouTube and tightened them up whenever needed. It takes two people to tighten them. Check on YouTube for tightening rv toppers.

Kirt The beach ball trick is an old one, is cheap, simple, and works pretty well, from everything I've read. I'd prefer to tighten the awnings up, though. Others use pool noodles, cut to length, and arched up under the awning. Lyle

I think, the toppers are like the new steps....a pain, as you always have to plan ahead....personally, I'd rather have the steps, don't have to climb to fix the problem. Of course, I've never had a problem with junk collecting on the top of the slide...now, I will be sorry I said that!!!

I carry a step latter & small electric blower to clean slide tops if needed. Cost less for the few times I need debris removed from the slide tops. Latter's multi functional from slide tops, to washing windows, satellite to the top etc. .

Blower and ladder for me also, mainly for blowing off slides, but good for other things also like Edd said.
