Well, we took the trailer out for the first time. It took a bit of time to hook up, mostly because of inexperience I think. We arrived at our campsite, and unhooking was much easier. Did have to fuss with the hitch height on the auto level, but with the app downloaded, we were able to reset the controls quickly. After being set up for two days we found 3 minor water leaks, under a sink in the master bath, the master bath toilet inlet line and the shower drain, this one in the front storage compartment. A pex crimping tool will be added to my trailer tool box today. We also had a few other things, all minor, but easily fixable. The space and comfort compared to our bumper pull was more then we imagined. Our towing experience, was no problem. The truck and trailer seem well matched. So, 3 nights in, we are happy with the 366. Safe travels to all!

We like our 5th wheel so much better too, towing and comfort. What I don't like is the everything is steps and the cabinets are so tall....bad knees. It does work well.

Glad everything worked out good and your towing experience was good. Also glad that you only had a few minor issues. I wish you many years of happy and fun travels!

Good to hear problems were minor. Yes, a PEX tool is a good idea. I carry an assortment of PEX fittings, crimp rings and crimper tool, also a few quest / shark bite fittings.

I found there are some places that crimper just can't get in the right position.

Knock on wood ... after 3 years and 20,000 towing miles, I have never needed a pex tool and don’t currently own one. That said, it can’t be a bad idea to have as much “just in case” tools and fittings as it takes to give you peace of mind.

One thing I've learned after owning 6 campers by six different manufactures, starting with a pop up in l985. You have to work on them all, they all give some problems, some worse than others. Best to learn how to do it yourself. I'm very fond of the KZ we currently own but found one of the dumbest thing I've ever seen. The return air on our 366 is in the lower bathroom. Being a old HVAC guy, I thought this was very amusing.

Yes, I thought that odd as well. We left the door open to help let the air flow. As mentioned in another post, the airflow seems weak in the main living area, and a lot of volume in the bedroom and front bath.

I don't think that's necessary. The existing openings top and bottom will be sufficient. The airflow is not much anyway. We don't use the propane much, just the fireplace and electric heater.

As some of the owners on the from have found out, the more you pull your 5th wheel the easier it gets an the more comfortable you feel pulling such to a point ... After 50 some years of pulling semi an 5th wheel travel trailers I still watch my mirrors all the time, check wheels for over
heating/temperature an look at the rig overall every time we stop to make sure nothing is falling off
As I stated in another post some of use bought floor registers at Lowe's or Home depot to change the air flow in parts of the trailer ... I also taped up the ducts I could get to going into the floor an at the furnace, made a little difference in air flow from bedroom to Kitchen/living area ... We use the electric fireplace most of the time if it gets very cold at night ... Safe Travels Chuck

Hello to all, our parts came in for our warranty work. Tomorrow we will take our trailer to Gibbs in Waco. Their hope is to complete everything in one day. For those with KZ units in the DFW area, I'll let you know things go. Safe travels to all during the holiday seasons!
