LCI i now making a dump pan for inside to catch the dirt. I had a suggestion to buy a Weathertech liner. Yeah, that'd work to catch trash, but it does nothing to help those of us with tight parking. Still a stupid idea, IMO. Lyle

I just shake ours a little before storing an that gets rid of most dirt if any at all We also have a small rug there by the door since there is no carpet , as I said before in another post,
the amount of dirt that you get when storing them is so miner it's not wort talking about The Grand-kids track more dirt in when they are down by mistake than when we store them
Again, Some People like them an some don't, that's what makes the world go round an as stated
since MorRyde came out with them LCI now also makes a version of such only a little different ... Just think in a few years they will have steps that come out an store with the touch of a button or from your phone, now that's Glamping

I'm one of those that like them. Yes there is some inconvenience at times, but overall I like them. With a bum knee getting in and out of the RV is so much better. I still have the original folding stair into the garage. Every time I use the back stairs it's painfull.

My issue is the space needed to put them out. Here at home my RV area is bordered by a curb..that they would end up sitting partially on. I really wish KZ would give you the choice as to which stair you want.

As I said, I'd have to move my rig over far enough that I'd not be able to fully extend the street-side slide if I want to access the interior while in storage. Lyle

Lyle Exactly the same thing for me, if I moved it over enough for the stairs, then my main slide can't be fully extended.

Our 2019 E191BH came with the old style steps, DH would love the flip up ones. I’m not sold on how they block the door if I need to hop in for something forgotten before we pull out.

I just installed Torklift Glowstep Revolution ( Click this link to their site ). They take the place of the regular RV steps, and they scissor in and out so that they can be deployed in very little space if necessary. They were expensive, but they make a world of difference for us. We both have bad knees, mine due to an injury and my wife due to osteoarthritis. I can tell you that these steps will be coming with us to the next RV we own.

Between the two of us we have three new knees, steps are good therapy.
