We're going camping this weekend, finally! Our first trip out in our new Spee Escape 196s. I get to un-winterize it tomorrow/Thursday depending on weather. We're going to go all of 45 minutes from home, hardly leaving the metro area, but it looks like a nice park with trails, a lake, and a fishing from piers and rental boats. Hoping to get to know the trailer and figure out what we don't know!

Most of our trips are close to home. It doesn't matter how far you go as long as you have a good time.

Trips close to home are great....sometimes we don't know or appreciate the gems in our own area. Shortlance is right, it is all about the fun and getting away, enjoying the outdoors.
A new trailer and a first trip close to home is a great idea, we have called it our "maiden voyage" for each of our new trailers.
Hope you have a great time. Let us know where you went and how things went.
