Wish they would put more outlets in convenient places such as the kitchen counter. Our Connect only has one mounted in the above cupboards. Inconvenient to plug in appliances. Also better placement in the bedroom. Ours are mounted in storage under the bed. A bigger oven would also be nice. Have a tendency to burn items on the bottom before the rest of the item is done, with the current style.

I know people who have put a ceramic tile in the oven. I've never done it but they said it worked.

I still have trouble wrapping my head around putting a tile/stone =under= the pan/tray to brown stuff on =top=. Lyle The theory of the ceramic time or pizza stone is not to brown anything but to give your oven a consistent temp front to back and side to side so that everything cooks at the same temp. You may very well burn things with a pizza stone but it will be burnt evenly. LOL

I thought this thread was for things we would like to see in a camper.

Wall outlets, pizza stones in ovens are things to add in your camper/trailer ... We have electric outlets on both ends of our counter, two on the kitchen island, one by are dinning table, another behind the theater seating an one each on the wall each side the of the couch/davenport ... Also one electric outlet in the bathroom an three in the bedroom, two more in the storage area an one outside on the wall of the trailer ... So I guess it depends on the size an the model of the trailer how many outlets you have an where they are placed, as Edd505 stated you can always add more ... In our case the one outlet behind the theater seating is a mystery, since the seating is against the wall you would have to climb behind the seating to get at it, I'm to fat to do such LOL

I thought this thread was for things we would like to see in a camper. Like "I wish the oven mfr would =include= the pizza stone/tile with the oven"? :-) How about, "I wish they'd put a light switch next to the lav sink so people < 5' tall can turn on the light"? Or, "I wish they'd put a light switch next to the toilet so people < 5' tall can turn on the light"? Lyle

That’s what I did to add an extra wall outlets in our 261 RB. Ran a covered wire from the outlet by the bed to the bedroom wall. There I added an extra outlet in the bedroom and also one on the opposite side of the wall in the main room by the table. Quite easy. 😊

My old Jayco I added to the wall behind the couch, tapped the micro wave circuit to but outlets at the opposite end in the bottom of the over head cabinet for coffee pot & toaster. Most over head cabinets have false bottoms so preety easy to route additional wires.

Something you need to learn about this blog, everyone is super about trying to help out. It sounds like you were having a problem and hoped that in the future things would change. The responders just were giving help by giving ideas for making things better now. Sometimes, it could be a simple fix....not perfect as a factory fix but yet make life easier until you can change RVs.
Hopefully, the company will hear your concerns and make adjustments....I feel mine was heard years back. I can't say I was the only one with the complaint but it did get changed. With all the responses and suggestions, you have to realize others have had to make adjustments to their RVs...corporate might see the need with so many responses.
We are only here to help.

True, but no matter what the factory does, owners will do something to make it theirs.

Lyle We have a light switch next to the bathroom sink along with the only GFI switch in the power output, light on the overhead that you have to reach up an turn on ... The problem with our trailer is when you walk in the bathroom a towel pantry is on the left an the sliding door is on the left so no where to put a switch next to the door in the bathroom ... Most but not always I can find the switch next to the sink in the dark an is handy coming from the bedroom to the bathroom but so much from the hallway to the bathroom ...
Thus I'm sort happy at 4am when I'm half asleep an looking to turn on a light when it's just on the left side just inside the door ....
