I purchased a 2013 280bh sportsman show stopper. I am located in Newfoundland canada. I discovered a leak in the front bedroom area shortly after buyin the trailer. There is no KZ dealer in my area, so I took the trailer to a local tt dealer but didn't get the problem fixed. the leak still persists. Not getting much help from the dealer where the trailer was purchased or the dealer that is located on the island.I know that it is a busy time of the year for the dealerships butr I have a lot of money tied up in this trailer. On top of all that the head for the power awning has a sprocket broken that holds the awning in.

We can't help you without more information.
Is it hot water, cold water, gray water, black water or rain water?
Where did you find the water?

sorry about that, didn't get a chance to finish note. The water is on the floor in the bedroom area on the door side of the bed. I did find a small hole in the sealant around the power awning wire where it passes through the wall. This was a couple of months ago and I sealed it up right away. Thought it was fixed but had rain the other day and got water on the floor again. Had all the windows sealed last fall. this slowed it down but never quite stopped. Then I was out of town for a day and when I returned the awning was out. Thought it was the kids but nobody was in the trailer all day. When I tried to retract the awning the motor ran but the awning didn't move. Had to get help to pull down both arms while I manually rolled up the awning. Discovered that a sprocket in the power head had split in half. When we purchased this trailer it was an upgrade from a 1989 19ft trailer. I researched kz and could find no complaints only praise for the company and its customer service. that sold us on the trailer. I am now trying to protect my 30k investment before it goes to far and there is a major water or mold problem.

This is now 5 months since my last post and we are still having problems with the trailer and the dealer. Parts that were needed were never sent mainly the locker doors which never came to stop the leaks there. Brought the trailer to a local TT dealer and now have mould in the wall panels from a persistant leak in the font bedroom around the window area. i have sealed up othe places that were leaking and have had enough. Just had an e-mail from the kz dealer where the trrailer came from and was not impressed with the language used. for a company that boasts exceptional customer service: I am really not impressed.

First off you are NOT dealing with KZ...you are dealing with an independent dealer who it appears does not care about you. WAs the local dealer you took it to suggested by KZ or just one you chose? I am on my second KZ product because of the treatment I got with a major leak 2 years out of warranty. I suggest you call Marty Yoder at KZ...factory service manager...and see what he suggests either in a repair or who to talk to. You say the windows were sealed...if it is snooth sided it has rubber gaskets on the back of the outer frame...if aluminum it uses a putty tape. The windows should not be caulked and never use silicone sealant. Here is Martys number...1-800-768-4016 ext 145

OK, after almost 2 years we still have a water leak. the local TT dealer are still waiting on compartment doors to fix the ones that fill with water and leak. Still have puddles on the floor in master bedroom when it rains. Haven't been able to reach the rep at KZ that we have been dealing with, we call and leave messages but get no calls back. This is very frustrating. If I wanted a boat I would have bought one.
