We have a 2015 Spree 337 RES Model and we are having issues with the fridge. The year we got the unit, there was a design flaw that caused the unit to overheat and lock out, preventing the unit from cooling. A modification was done to allow for more airflow. Fast forward and our cooling unit took a crap. $1800 later (thank god for extended warranty) the fridge is still not working the way it should. The hinges do not support any weight in the doors, or the sag, and then the seal doesn’t work.
We want to put a residential unit in place of the Norcold 1201. It looks like we have about 63” in height, 30 inches wide and 30 inches deep to work with. Has anyone replaced theirs? We are beyond frustrated with Norcold and will never use them again. There answer was “ the unit is not made to run without the air conditioner on for efficiency”. Really??? Then what is the fridge good for? We are in a seasonal arrangement and have food in the fridge for about 6 months ata time. We do not run the air conditioner during the week when we are not there.
Please help!
