I know I've asked questions about this before, but the confusion in my old brain keeps going. Sorry if I'm beating this to death, but I'm one of these guys where things have to work right. Maybe someone at the rally can ask a tech for proper connections to do this.
'18 DG 380FLF - The living and bedroom on this floorplan are reversed.
The antenna booster plate has 2 outputs - one for Satellite, other for cable.
In the outside panel, there are 2 inputs for SAT and Cable.
I pulled the walls inside the compartment to look at the connections.
Low and behold, the SAT connection does have a black cable coming off it going someplace unknown. It goes to the wire bundle up into the floor. But, there is no cable on the inside sat connector.
I know that earlier I was told by KZ to remove the inside cable from "A" and put the receiver cable there. No go, unless I'm really doing something wrong, which I probably am.
Right now I'm just putting the SAT cable through the window to the receiver. Although I have the window opening stuffed, flying critters still get in..
I know that all MY cables are good.
So if someone can ask a Tech there can you let me know. I have the wiring diagram from the manual, but honestly I doesn't really tell me much.
Thanks, Al

Click on photo to enlarge Sorry Al but the rally is over Here is the wiring diagram I have with instructions you should be able to watch cable tv by connecting cable to "cable in" connector in the outside convenience center Make sure that the jumper wire is between "B & C" and the antenna booster is off, and that the televisions are set to cable.

I have the same diagram on my 2015 Durango 1500, it works correctly, however, if I am using my Tailgater instead of an 18" actual Dish, the signal strength is so weak when going thru all the camper connections that I only get a few channels, so I do like the OP and hookup up directly from tailgater to receiver, but I run it thru the side of a slide seal, works real good that way. Found out in my former job when I would do 'tech' stuff that every cable connection is a source of signal loss. going direct eliminates 4 connections. JMHO

www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UE8O7MK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I finally gave up trying to get our dish satellite to work using the camper wiring. I purchased the above 12" flat HD coax slimline jumper. We are running it through one of the side windows near the tv. It actually fits nicely in one of the slits in the window (that is for water drainage) so we can even shut the window tight. We didn't have any issues with the satellite service.

I've used them before for cable tv. I'm not sure how'd they work with days though. It's the first time I've seen them anywhere in a long time.
