Our 2018 Durango gold carbon dioxide sensors go off when we turn on the furnace. Help?

First it is a carbon monoxide detector, probably with LP detection as well. Low voltage, propane leak or fumes from the furnace can set it off. In addition, debris in the furnace, or other substances can also be a problem. So measure the 12 volt supply voltage, sniff and check for propane leaks, check the exhaust and generally clean up the furnace area.

Low battery will set it off, hair spay, bug spray, I would also check the LP hose's going from your LP regulator to your LP tanks, a number of owners here have found bad hose's with leaking fittings ...

Chuck Furniture polish spray, too; basically, =any= aerosol, will set them off, especially since a lot of aerosols use =propane= as a propellant! :-) Agree with the low battery, too. Lyle

How long does the furnace run before the detector goes off? Check all the other items mentioned, but as a long shot there may me a flaw in the heat exchanger /burner.

Mine was doing that until I changed the propane pig tails that leaked, not an issue since changed.
