Hello campers thank you for the add in the group! We just purchased a 2013 Sportsman Classic 19bhs, all we do is of the grid camping this is the biggest trailer we've ever owned, pop-ups and teardrops. Our question is what size generator would you use to power the 8000BTU A/C? Thank you all in advance!

Without a model number, I am going to make a guess and say you might be able to run the A/C with one of the Honda 2200 generators.
Big issue with A/Cs is the starting surge- they have a big initial draw, and that's what forces the need for a larger generator. Good thing with the Honda (or any of the other gang-able) generator is the ability to tailor the generator to the load, No A/C = 1 generator.
