Refrigerator rear condensor fan broke

while on our two week vacation we had one of the refrigerator condensor fans break. After leaving Estes Park Colorado we were traveling to Plano Texas, we made a one night stop in Kansas and the temps were a-lot higher than normal. The next morning before we got on the road I opened the lower grill cover on the slide and found the fan blade and motor laying in the bottom of the compartment. It separated form the housing while traveling I guess. I have looked at various videos and people are installing one or more fans behind the upper grill. From what most of then say this improved the cooling in the fridge. Just checking if anyone else has had this problem and what the fix was for you.
