Anyone put in a third AC in Durango Gold? Why do you think you need a 3rd? Our two does a pretty good job.

I have a 385fl and it does decent, but in high 90’s a third would help. I live full time on Fl/ga line east coast

In order to run 3 roof mount 15k air conditioners at one time you would need something larger than a 50 amp service. All the RV you see that have 3 ac units and 50 amp service can still only run 2 at a time. What this does is give the ability to run the units where they are most needed at that time. Front/rear, middle/rear, front /middle. Front only, middle only, rear only. I have seen custom 5th wheels with 100 amp service and 3 ac units. I however have yet to come across a campground with greater than 50. They must be out there though. Maybe high end RV resorts. When these 100 amp service custom builds are adapted to 50 you can only use 2 ac units

Lyle On the older units that is exactly how they did it 2/50 amp services 2 shore lines. The newer coaches have only one shore line for the 100 amp service.
