One of the things that has really irked me about this from day 1, is that the lav light switch is on the light itself, above the sink, which my wife can barely reach, let alone any of the grandkids, even the 16 y.o. Has anyone added a switch at a =normal= height for this light?

Really, ours is on the wall along with two other switch's, one for all the ceiling lights an another for the hall light .... There are push button switches in the light fixture it's self but why use those when you can just flip a switch on the wall ... I will say in jetzen 384 his light switch for the overhead lights over the table is on the ceiling in the slide were again ours is on the wall, maybe like jetzen the guy putting in switches that day was 7ft tall an thought nothing about it LOL (Grin) Safe Travels Chuck

If is doesn’t have a wall switch for the light and fan I would say it should have and may have been left off by mistake. I remember the old pickup camper my dad had back in the 70s all the lights were that way but other than the light over the table all ours have a switch somewhere. Wiring a switch would be easy enough except getting the wires in the wall . Only way I can see doing it would be hiding the wire in some sort of trim , the wiring is simple just break one wire and wire it to the switch. I’m with you I’d have to do something it’s bad enough having to open the vent with the crank handle . Let’s just say I always got picked last for basketball as my dad used to say I’m not short just built close to the ground lol
