I have a new to me 2017 Venture Sporttrek. It has the cargo holder on the back that also is a bike rack. Trying to see if I am missing something for the back rack. All I see online is the square tube mounted to the cargo holder. But nothing to set a bike on. I'm thinking that some piece is missing.

we don't own a venture sporttrek but we have a rack attached to the back bumper as well an it states it can be used as a bike rack, but like you there is nothing there to hold bikes  So I believe you get what you see an nothing else, thus you have to buy the extra rake that will hold the bikes upright even though the wheel will ride on the rake provided by venture .... We have the rack on the back of our coach (also not a Venture Sporttrek) yep, that piece of square tube is about it. I welded up some cross bars that I then attach the wheel holder kind of bike racks

Thanks for the feedback! I will figure out something. I did find those bike rack holders made by Stromberg Carlson. might consider those. Just a pain to bolt and unbolt as you have need.
