Hello All AC and fireplace broke I have power coming out of AC-Fireplace breaker with 120 to the top right screw on Fireplace-AC switch located in cabinet with just its breaker on but moves to the bottom screw on right when I turn on all the other breakers on below it.
The fuses to the right all look good and the glass fuse in the thermostat is good. Thinking fireplace is not connected to it anyway.
Strange all was good the day before but next day bad.
Thanks everyone for any clues. Roy and Carrie

The fireplace has a high heat cut out switch. I have had mine not turn on and resetting the breaker reset the high temp switch.

I have set my breakers including main power a few times hoping in a miracle. The problem has to be in common with fireplace and AC being broke at same time.

what do they have in common? The fireplace plugs into a standard outlet, do you have power at the outlet? I think I would look into the breaker panel for loose wires if you don't.

Dont know if it helps but our AC and Fireplace use the SAME breaker etc. The factory puts a Light Switch in the cabinet above fireplace and you switch it UP for AC and DOWN for fireplace. Do you have a "switch"....

That one's on the design team, not the build team and whoever came up with that idea should be lined up next to the idiot at GM that decided that not being able to manually select 4th gear on the 5-speed Allison was a good idea, and flogged! Agreed I am not happy with most things that KZ has done - it sucks you think it is a great camper and then you actually use it and find things just arent what you thought they were....

I have seen things like this done before with other items in RVs...only so much electricity, and really can we pick too more opposite items? Fireplace and A/C? Makes sense to me. Back to OP: I would start with the breaker, if it has power, then the switch is the next logical place to check. My guess is the switch failed.

Hello All So sorry that I never updated this post with telling everyone changing the switch in the cabinet fixed my problem. The switch was to either have fireplace on or the AC on. Roy

Add that to the “way too wide towing mirrors” and you have a trifecta😉

They probably did that because if both are used at the same time the breaker would trip. They can only have so many circuits, maybe not enough room in the breaker panel to add another breaker.
