We are wondering if anybody on this forum knows whether someone may have a slider air ride hitch for sale. We are interested, it seems Hensley stopped selling a slider model, unfortunately we need a slider for our 2015 Silverado 3500, 6’6 box pick up.

Don't know of any Hensley hitches for sale but if you are looking for a cushioned hitch with a slider you may want to consider a Blue Ox super ride. For the very best in slider hitches you may also consider a Demco Autoslide, strongest most secure jaw/lockup made, built in capture plates.

Jetzen, thank you for your response. My wife and I went looking at new hitches yesterday. While at an rv dealer the dealers parts manager asked if we had seen the Blue Ox super ride, we hadn’t so we went to the show room to see one. We were very impressed with it, we looked at some YouTube videos and the technical information. In my opinion, I think the Blue Ox and Hensley hitches are the only ones who have created an answer to downward force on the king pins. We will very probably be getting a new Blue Ox this week.

I was in the market for a new hitch this spring. I have a long bed truck so a slider was not needed for my application. I looked at a Blue Ox but got turned off because it is only available in a slider. I went for the Demco in a standard rail mount 21k. Demo has a single wraparound jaw with a lock bar and is said to be the strongest single jaw made. I have pulled about 2000 miles so far with this new hitch and it is extremely quiet with no chucking, cracking or any other which noises.
