We have a 2008 KZ Sportsmen Select 245. We see under the cabinet the switches for the slides and the awning and they both work properly. We also have two switches that we assume are the exterior and interior lights. These two switches appear to not be working at all. When we go to each light in the living/kitchen area, we can turn them on by the switch located in the light so we know they are working. The lights on the exterior (one above the door and one that is by the pass through) do not work at all. The one by the pass through has on/off switch on the bottom and we have tried this and it does not work. We have replaced the bulb.We have also checked fuses and believe those to be fine as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the switches are not operating the lights? Thank you.

Pull the switches out and check for voltage between the switch terminals and ground. In the on position you should have voltage on both terminals.

Also if it's like our old coachmen 5th wheel you could leave the light switches on at the light an then turn them off on the wall ... You might try doing this an see if this is how they are wired ... Please let us know so other may benefit from what you find Safe Travels Chuck
