Anyone add the cables to convert your ramp door into the patio? Where did you get the cables and how difficult was the install?

We also have sportsmen and was wondering the same thing. Would love to figure out how and if it could be done. Contacted KZ but have not received a reply.

If you look at how cables are connected in some other brands of toy haulers, you will find triangular gussets welded to the ramp frame in the upper corners. The gussets had holes that the wire rope attached, and they made brackets that attached to the ramp to connect the other end of the wire rope. The pieces were available for a time from LCI, but the problem is the attachment of the frame to the back and side walls of the trailer, you probably don't have the structurability there to hold the ramp up. You don't want to rip the frame out of the back of the trailer!
If you want to create a deck, it would probably be safer to support the ramp from underneath, maybe with adjustable jack stands with padding to protect the exterior ramp surface.
They still make the brackets.............

I would look to support from under, maybe 4 4x4's and build rails with boat life lines around the upper side. They make stainless stanchions and fitting to stop rust.

After reading about the party ramps getting damaged by getting wet, I decided that is another option I do not need. But if I did do it, I would support it well from underneath.
