I don't have an Escape (I have a 160rbt) but yesterday I put a hose carrier on top of the bumper. I secured it to the bumper with the worm drive type hose clamps. I think it looks pretty good. I'll try to get a picture of it tonight.

I put the black water hose in the bumper. Is there a reason to not do this?

I put the black water hose in the bumper. Is there a reason to not do this? I keep two Rhino's in there. I have read the bumper can rust inside, but both ends are vented.

I also read on this forum that the inside of the bumper can rust and cause the hose to get worn and leak. I looked inside my bumper and found that it is in fact rusting. When it comes to the sewer hose I decided better safe than sorry and bought a plastic storage tube. Also, the tube has a wider diameter than the bumper so I can now fit all the pieces of the hose inside.

Someone who owned my trailer before I did installed the stabilizers by drilling into the bottom of the back bumper with sheetrock screws which are pointed and very sharp. Otherwise, I would store my sewer hose inside the bumper.

Otherwise, I would store my sewer hose inside the bumper. Remove the screws, file off the burrs, paint the disturbed areas and mount the jacks correctly.

I'm surprised they have not been dragged off going in or out a a gas station. Get them where they belong before you do.

Well I have out sewer hose container attached to back bumper an yes I have scrapped it off coming out of a truck stop after fueling ... I re-attached it in the same place an now watch here I go into an out off, that isn't to say I won't do it again Ugh !!! ... As well I have carried the sewer hose in the bumper but it got pin hoses in such after a few years but that was a cheap hose ... At the last Kz Rally I saw out neighbor that had his sewer hose round container attached to the frame near his dump valve I thought what a great Idea an am working on doing the same thing on out 5th wheel ... I have also seen owner using plastic fence post attached to the top of rear bumper which would work as well ... Also though about a long length of PVC across the trailer an attached to the bottom of the I beam just north of the front of the trailer wheels ... Safe Travels Chuck
